About the role
Ground operatives keep airport operations running — handling baggage, loading and unloading aircraft and supporting turnaround. Airside roles require enhanced referencing (a full five-year checkable history) and pass through additional security clearance.
What the role involves
- Loading and unloading baggage and cargo
- Moving baggage between terminals, aircraft and reclaim
- Working safely airside around aircraft and vehicles
- Supporting a fast, on-time aircraft turnaround
What you’ll need
- The right to work in the UK
- A full, checkable five-year work/address history (for airside referencing)
- Physically fit for manual handling
- Able to pass airport security clearance
