Accessibility Statement
How this website has been built for accessibility, the standard it targets, and how to tell us about a problem.
Our commitment
We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. It has been built to target Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
Accessibility is part of our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy rather than separate from it — a recruitment process nobody can use is not an inclusive one.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and page landmarks
- A skip-to-content link as the first item in the tab order
- Visible focus indicators on every interactive element
- Full keyboard operation, including the navigation menus, search and accordions
- Colour contrast checked against WCAG AA thresholds in both light and dark themes
- Alternative text on meaningful images, with decorative images hidden from assistive technology
- Form fields with associated labels and error messages linked to their field and announced
- Animation suppressed for visitors whose system requests reduced motion
- Text that reflows without horizontal scrolling down to narrow screen widths
- No information conveyed by colour alone
Known limitations
Some third-party content, such as an embedded map, may not fully meet the same standard. Where that is the case we provide the same information in an accessible form on the page — for example, the office address and directions in text.
Tell us about a problem
If you find something on this website that you cannot access, please tell us at info@readystaff.co.uk or call 07774 002324. Describe the page and what went wrong and we will look into it. If you need information from this site in another format, ask us and we will try to provide it.
If you need an adjustment to take part in our recruitment process, that is a separate request and always available — see our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy.
