Catering assistants serve food and drink, keep counters and service areas stocked and clean, and give customers a friendly experience — in staff restaurants, schools, hotels and at events.
What the role involves
- Serving food and drink at counters, functions or events
- Keeping service areas stocked, clean and presentable
- Handling cash or card payments where required
- Following food-safety and allergen procedures
What you’ll need
- The right to work in the UK
- A friendly, customer-focused manner
- Reliability and good presentation
- Food Hygiene certificate helpful but not essential
