HGV Class 2 Driver
Multi-drop and trunking work driving rigid HGVs.
About the role
Class 2 (Category C) drivers carry out multi-drop deliveries or trunking runs in rigid vehicles. The role requires a valid licence, Driver CPC and a clean-enough record, along with the customer service that comes with representing a client at the delivery point.
What the role involves
- Driving a rigid HGV safely and legally, observing drivers' hours rules
- Completing multi-drop deliveries or trunking runs on schedule
- Loading, securing and checking loads, and completing paperwork or ePOD
- Carrying out daily vehicle walk-around checks
What you’ll need
- A valid UK Category C (Class 2) licence
- A current Driver CPC card and digital tachograph card
- A reasonable driving record
- The right to work in the UK
